Spams are unwanted E-mail messages which are primarily send with the commercial commodities to the recipients. Gmail has a Spam folder to handle spam messages.
Gmail transfers all spam messages into the Spam folder. Spam folder displays on the left side of the Gmail window.
If Spam Folder does not display on the left side of the Gmail window then you need to change account settings of the Gmail account. To change settings select the Setting option from the right side of the window and click on Labels tab. After this, click on show in front of Spam.
Marking an E-mail as Spam
If you receive an E-mail in your inbox which is a spam, you need to click on “Report Spam” button. After this, E-mail gets transferred into Spam folder.
Checking Spam Folder
You should check your spam folder after a certain interval of time. Whereby, we are able to identify our important E-mails which may be marked as spam by mistake. If all the E-mails of the spam folder actually a spam, you can leave them as they are automatically deleted by Gmail within 30 days. But if you want to delete them manually click on Delete forever button.
